We are loving all of this warm weather. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by the Sussex countryside at our showroom so we have been soaking up as much sunshine as we can. The Met Office is predicting highs of 24-25℃ over this next week marking the beginning of a long, hot summer. These blue skies are encouraging us to reach out to friends and family to organise BBQs and garden get-togethers.
Although we love our woodburning stoves, we stock lots of fire-side accessories which can be used throughout the summer as well.
We know that if you are only just digging out your garden fire pit or chiminea you may not have all of the necessary items to get a roaring fire. One of the best parts of a summer evening is cooking food outside with friends. We love roasting food on an open fire. Jacket potatoes are perfect to put on the fire as you share drinks and stories.
Lots of our cast-iron cooking accessories are brilliant for use outside on an open fire. Hot potato cookers can be used to make tasty jacket potatoes, as well as perfectly cooked sausages. Currently, in our showroom, we have a 6.5-inch cast-iron skillet and we can order in larger sizes upon request. We also stock kettles in a range of sizes as well as a panini press.
